Xiaomi and HRX have teamed up and jointly announced a brand new fitness product Mi Band – HRX Variant – in India. The Chinese company has associated with HRX by Hrithik Roshan to deliver this latest fitness band, which is basically a variant of the Mi Band 2. The Mi Band HRX Variant is priced at INR 1,299($20) and will be available to purchase from September 18 on Mi Home offline stores and Mi.com. It is expected to be available at other online stores like Flipkart, Amazon, and Myntra from September 20. The gadget offers you much better monitoring algorithm for more precise tracking of activities and enhanced battery life.
Mi Band – HRX Variant is claimed to function around 23 days on its battery with a single charge. HRX Variant boasts 0 .42 mm OLED display and Bluetooth 4 .0 chipset which also helps in energy conservation. The OLED screen exhibits time, incoming calls and text messages. It also keeps track of users excess calories burnt, steps, sleep patterns with the high-speed accelerometer, digital heart rate tracking and enhanced pedometer. The Mi Band – HRX edition comes along with an ADI sensing unit and IP67 water resistant capability. Users with phone operate on Android version 5.0 or above are also able to unlock their handset when it kept near to the Mi Band – HRX Variant.
The Mi Band is lightweight and convenient to bear in hand. In terms of design, the Mi Band HRX Variant is slim and appears almost like Mi Band 2 with an exception of the extra HRX logo now embossed on the strap. The strap is made of hypoallergenic silicone. One of the key difference you can find between Mi Band 2 and HRX Variant is heart rate, monitor. Mi Band HRX Variant is lacking a heart rate sensor under the hood, something the Mi Band 2 have inside.
