Some new images of Nokia 9 surfaced online allowing us to have a first look at the smartphone, thanks to tech youtuber WaqarKhan. He shared these images along with a video on his Twitter account revealing the 3D bezel-less design, fingerprint scanner and the dual Zeiss camera on the rear side. We have already witnessed a range of smartphones from the present manufacturer of Nokia smartphones, HMD Global and they seem to be adding brand new handsets at an intense speed. Within a year after its commencement, the Finnish establishment has launched a stunning 8 brand new devices to the market which includes 4 smartphones and 4 feature phones. Putting this stacks aside, HMD will probably continue to delight us with a new product before the end of the year 2017.
Nokia 9 is expected to be the next premium model from Finnish firm If it is true this phone might snatch the flagship title from the current high-end device Nokia 8. By looking at these images we can see the front part is a surmised AMOLED screen with a curved glass and the rear side panel of the device is curved as well. According to GFXBench the screen of Nokia 9 will measure the same as the Nokia 8, which is 5.3 inches. However, the Company representative has given an indication of a large screen in Nokia 9, So in case the assumption of GFXBench gone wrong, we believe it won’t go beyond 5.5 inches.
From the Images, we can see a curved glass panel on the backside. If it is true HMD tends to use all-glass backplates for the device with a purpose to include wireless charging feature. For the reason that the Nokia 9 may apparently include an OLED display screen with minimal bezels at the front part, the fingerprint button has been moved to the rear side of the device as well. The device may well be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset(not confirmed) along with 6/8GB of RAM.
Other features include 13MP + 13MP dual Zeiss camera on rear side along with 13 MP selfie shooter at front. The device carries 128GB internal storage which can be extended with a microSD card. The device is also said to be IP68 water and dust resistant and may well include iris scanner. Unofficial reports indicate the Nokia 9 will be priced around $895(€750) and information regarding the time frame of release is not yet available.
