We are at the new year’s eve now as the lots of speculations and theories regarding the forthcoming handsets is expanding by the moment. Among the imminent handsets which are profoundly awaited by countless folks is the Xiaomi Mi 7. This device is anticipated to be the very first Chinese handset to function the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor chip. Now a fresh range of renders has come up on the web. We found the recent image leaks on a Chinese micro-blogging website named Weibo(source added at end of this post), which renders a stunning design and 18:9 bezel-less screen.

Earlier reports from unofficial sources hinted that Mi 7 may include a 3D facial recognition as a substitute for the under-glass fingerprint scanner akin to the Face ID on the iPhone X. However, from the following reports, we didn’t get enough valid proofs to support it. Several days ago another group of renders appeared and we have posted an article on it – Xiaomi Mi 7 renders exposing on-screen fingerprint scanner, As many other companies like OnePlus and Vivo are attempting to apply on-screen fingerprint on their forthcoming high-end smartphones possibilities were high for Xiaomi to include it on their Mi 7 model. Now the latest leaks of Mi 7 shows us a picture of rear side located fingerprint scanner denying the on-screen fingerprint scan and 3D facial recognition.

From the images, we can clearly see that the Mi 7 without any bezels around the whole frame is carrying an exceptionally similar design to the latest iPhone X. The only exception is made for the topmost section of the handset where selfie camera and all the sensors are located. Looking at the rear side image of the handset, we come across a dual camera system, not like what we observed in earlier renders, now we find them positioned horizontally on the top left corner of the panel similar to its preceding model Mi 6.

We will also find a power button and volume rockers located on the right side of the handset. The 5.65-inch 18:9 bezel-less display screen is curved at corners. The dual cameras at back side include 19MP + 19MP with 4x optical zoom and f1.7 aperture. In the front top side of the handset, you will find some sensors and a 16 MP selfie shoot cam. Mi7 models are anticipated to show up in two variants (6gb + 128gb and 8gb + 256gb).  Mi7 may also sport wireless charging, dual glass, and metal frame design. Mi 7 is expected to be priced around 2699 Yuan (INR 27,000 – USD 415) and plus variant to be priced around 2999 Yuan (INR 30,000 – USD 460).
