For the past few years, HTC has been a low performer in the smartphone segment, Now it seems like they are planning a revival as various sources suggest that the Taiwanese firm is set to launch four smartphones in short order. These four smartphones are specifically named as HTC Wildfire E, HTC Wildfire E+, HTC Wildfire E1, and the HTC Wildfire.
The HTC Wildfire E and E+
Based on the allegedly disclosed details the HTC Wildfire E will be the standard variant of the series, It will be a compact smartphone featuring a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720p) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device will also get a horizontal camera setup on the top-left corner of the plastic backside panel.
Talking about the hardware side, HTC has integrated a low-end octa-core processor by UniSoC, along with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone will be powered by the Android 9 Pie together with HTC’s customized user interface.
This 4G LTE supported handset will also get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3,000mAh battery to power up the device. The rear panel hosts a fingerprint scanner, and a primary 13-megapixel cam coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the device offers a 5-megapixel camera.
The HTC Wildfire E+ is going to be the elder brother of E, It will be featuring a 6-inch screen that provides the equivalent HD+ (1440 x 720p) resolution. However, the device will get a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor which will compensate its marginally higher selling price compared to Wildfire E.
The HTC Wildfire E1
From the first look itself, we notice that HTC’s Wildfire is distinctive from any other budget-oriented handset made by the company in the past. This unique device will enjoy a 6-inch HD+ (1560 x 720p) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also got a thick chin at the bottom along with tiny notch straight into the top. The device is integrated with a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear along with 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Akin to the Wildfire E+, the Wildfire E1 is supported by MediaTek’s Helio A22 processor. The device will also include a 3GB of RAM combined with the 32GB of internal. It is expected to be delivered with Android 9 Pie inside and will hold 4G LTE networks as standard. Considering its size the battery power of this device is expected to be above 3,000mAh, even though alleged reports suggest a 3,000mAh battery.
The HTC Wildfire or E2/E3
This smartphone stands above all others in this series, It is merely denoted as the ‘HTC Wildfire’ although some sources put forward that it may actually be named as the Wildfire E2 or E3. The device boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a V-shaped notch on top of the screen. When it comes to the camera department, the phone sport a dual camera on the rear which includes 16-megapixel primary sensor and an additional 5-megapixel substitute. For selfies, a 16-megapixel sensor is made available.
The smartphone is integrated with a faster MediaTek Helio P23 processor and is expected to get 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal, also, a 3,500mAh battery is listed among the specifics. Another interesting point is that this phone is allegedly being created by a different manufacturer in favor of HTC, Since you can see the absence of the brand’s logo on the back panel. Well, we have to wait a while for the official confirmation.
