We have already seen a lot of news and rumors regarding the release date of Android O, Latest report indicates that the release date is likely on August 21.
AndroidPolice reporter David Ruddock had made tweets concerning the release date and the new Android version name. He claims that he knows the name, But he didn’t reveal the name saying he doesn’t want to spoil the surprise. He also said in his tweet that he gets this information from one source that he cannot verify.
A recent tweet from Evan Blass (Mobile reporter @ VentureBeat) as well gives us information on Android O launch date. He also claims that launch date is scheduled for the week of August 21. Furthermore, the latest version of Android will “most likely” be introduced on August 21, the exact same rumor states.
So, considering the fact that August 21 is a full solar eclipse event, It certainly is feasible that Google is preparing something massive around that time period.
