Speculations and rumors were spreading over past several weeks regarding the official release of the Xperia XZ1 successor. Sony unveiled Xperia XZ1 to the public at annual IFA event held in August this year. Now its successor is expected to be launch at Mobile World Congress which is going to occur in the month of February 2018 at Barcelona. Sony will offer four distinct versions of the handset for various markets with model numbers H8296, H8216, H8276, and H8266. Last day the Sony H8266 was viewed on Geekbench and exposed its key features such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor combined with 4GB RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo. Now more features of the Sony H8216/H8266 have been exposed through Weibo.
As we can see in the exposed spec sheet, It clearly mentioned that the handset will carry a Full HD Triluminos Display with the 5.48-inch screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It appears like the handset is not going to feature an 18:9 Full vision display screen as we spotted dimensions at 157 x 78 x 8.1mm. Hence, It ensures the earlier spec leak that proposed the 16:9 display for the handset. The H8266 model will include 6GB RAM with an internal storage space of 128GB whereas the memory components of the H8216 model will be 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory. Moreover, the storage space will likely be extended up to 256GB through a microSD card. Both these models going to have Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, But the battery capacities are likely to be varied as Sony H8216 battery power while H8266 will get 3,240mAH power.
If the reports are valid regarding the official launch of this model, we can expect more leaks on this model as there are still a lot of days left until the launch event.
