LG Officially announced the Google Assistant powered ‘ThinQ’ smart speaker

South Korean tech giant firm LG Electronics has now confirmed that they are introducing a brand new smart speaker labeled as “ThinQ” to their 2018 series. Though LG has put most of its key specifications concealed, now the firm has revealed an intriguing feature with this speaker which is the speaker is going to be powered by Google Assistant. Based on the latest reports, The firm will officially launch ‘ThinQ’ smart speaker at the forthcoming International Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in Las Vegas.

Moreover, the firm has stated that LG ThinQ Speaker is using the Meridian Audio’ technology which allows the speaker to deliver the top quality audio experience. LG has associated with Google to integrate Google Assitant support in speaker. So combing its digital assistant features along with flawless high-resolution listening experience, ThinQ Speaker is capable of changing typical concepts on home speakers users have in their minds.

“Our latest lineup of audio products has been designed for those
listeners who value premium sound with smart-enabled capabilities, and demonstrates
how LG continues to push the boundaries on how people enjoy music and movies,” says Tim Alessi(Head of product marketing at LG Electronics USA) on LG’s official blog.

Unofficial reports depict that like various other smart home products of LG in ThinQ series, LG ThinQ speaker can also handle smart home gadgets through a voice application developed by the firm. When its launched ThinQ speaker will become a strong competitor to other popular smart speakers like Google Home Max, Amazon’s Echo series, and Apple’s forthcoming HomePod. In addition to this speaker, LG is scheduled to introduce additional audio devices in various groups at 2018 International Consumer Electronics Show.
