The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has presented their remarkable handsets from P-series for past three consecutive years namely Huawei P8 in 2015, Huawei P9 in 2016 and Huawei P10 in 2017. In 2018 we were expecting the next generation smartphone from Huawei from P-series will likely be named P11. But recent images render we found online which is derived from China indicates something else.
As per the exposed information, the following generation of P-series of handsets is going to be known as P20. The render has additionally shown the purported design of the forthcoming Huawei P20 handsets, specifically named as the normal P20, P20 Plus, and the P20 Pro. Significantly, all these devices are integrated with triple backside cameras. When looking at the designs from leaked images, we can clearly see that the Huawei P20 Plus and P20 is going to have a sort of identical designs at the front part. We can also find a physical home button at bottom of the screen which may also act as the fingerprint scanner. The bezels of the smartphones are extremely thin, even at the bottom part where physical button resides.
When looking at the backside of the handsets we will find all three devices got triple camera setup but in case of Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Plus the cameras are positioned different ways. For Huawei P20 the cameras are fixed in a horizontal position along with an LED flash at right. But in Plus version of P20, the cameras are located vertically with LED flash positioned below the cameras. The P20 Pro also got a vertically fixed triple camera system, but compared to P20 Plus, it is positioned at the top-center section of the handset. The Huawei P20 Pro is going to have a bezel-less display screen with a larger screen to body ratio. Because of the minimal space at the lower bezel, the fingerprint scanner is relocated to the backside in P20 Pro. P20 Pro also got an edge space on the top side of the screen which accommodates the selfie camera along with the earpiece like the one we observed in iPhone X.
If the rumors are believed to be true, The P20 and P20 Plus is going to be supported by Huawei’s high-end Kirin 970 chipset. While the P20 Pro is anticipated to include the significantly more potent Kirin 975 processor. All three handsets may carry a 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal. Huawei will probably reveal the P20 range at the Mobile World Congress 2018, that is going to be held in Barcelona next month.
