Massive leak of Forthcoming Nokia X’s Images Expose its Unique Design

Crisp images of the upcoming Nokia X handset which is scheduled to launch on May 16 have emerged on Weibo. Some of these images clearly indicate that the device is going to be the initial Nokia handset with a notched display from HMD Global. Still, the firm hasn’t given out any further details regarding its features and pricing of the handset. From the images, we can see the dual camera setup which is positioned vertically on the top half of rear panel together with its dual-tone LED flash and a fingerprint reader. Based on some earlier leaks, one of the dual cameras will include a 16-megapixel lens. It seems like the Nokia X will feature a glassy backside as well which supports wireless charging.

The left edge of the handset appears to be left blank while the volume up and down buttons together with power button are arranged on the right side. The side bezels of the handset are narrow, and the bottom bezel is a little dense and managed to include the “Nokia” labeling. On the top side of the Nokia X, we can see merely a 3.5mm audio jack. The bottom side of the handset is not shown in the new leaked pictures however, earlier leaks have stated that it includes a micro USB 2.0 port on the bottoms side and probably the loudspeakers too. The notch on the front display is filled with 16 MP selfie cam together with an earpiece.

The Nokia X is going to carry a Full HD+ 5.8-inch notch screen with 19:9 screen to body ratio and 2280 x 1080 resolution. The device will also be powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor. Earlier leaks have also stated that the device could be also obtainable in MediaTek Helio P60 chipset variant. The smartphone is predicted to carry along RAM models such as 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB and inbuilt storage variants like 32 GB and 64 GB. Earlier reports have already shown that the Nokia X will carry a model number of Nokia TA-1099. The handset arrive loaded with latest Android Oreo OS out of the box. A 3,000mAh battery cell is also provided to power up the whole device.
